Kamari Beach – Black Sand Beach

 One of the favorite lunch spots for day tours, this long stretch of black lava/sandy beach is wonderful for swimming, lounging and walking.  Across from the long beach along the tree lined road are many fine eateries, shops and little hotels. Look up into the mountains and you will see the crisscross road going up to the Ancient Thera village.
