On this popular guided shore excursion of Santorini we'll visit the Gavalas Vineyard. It is a small winery but probably one of the most authentic in Santorini. The Gavalas family has been making wine since the late 1800’s.
This winery produces high quality wines while also developing rare and local varieties.
One of their specialties is white wine and their flagship wine is named “Katsano”, a definite treat and a great memento from Santorini. FYI.. Ask your guide about the unique way grapes are grown in Santorini.
