Popular Turkey goes HOLLYWOOD by Archaeologous
Turkey is getting a "HOLLYWOOD" makeover.
There has been an increase in the popularity of vacationing in Turkey by Americans and some of it is because of a world renown Turkish visual designer who works in Hollywood-California. The Culture Ministry of Turkey has bestowed an honor on him of starting an advertising campaign and with its 2013's launch, it has contributed to an increase of 30% of US tourists visiting Turkey. Archaeologous, a tour specialist company servicing Mediterranean cruise passengers and extended vacation visitors in Turkey have seen the increase in tours.
Data of interviewed Americans who spent at least 10 days in Turkey previously, or who had cruised to Turkey and spent a day on a shore excursion, wanted to return and see more, as they were impressed by their first visit.
This 'HOLLYWOOD' program targets retirees over 50, honeymooners, gay tourism and religious/faith groups. Numbers are constantly growing as millions of people on internet are checking out the wonders of Turkey for a vacation as, among other things, it's the cultural crossroad of both modern and ancient ways, has gorgeous waters and beaches, is home to 'two' of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and Seven of the Seven Churches of the Apocalypse.
