100 years Celebration of Turkish love of the Cinema by Archaeologous

The One Hundred Years of Love' is a celebration from Sept - Jan 4th at the Istanbul Modern Museum. This exhibition is a glance at the century old history of the phenomenon of Turkish cinema, founded in 1914, from the eyes of the audience.

A fun activity in Istanbul to acquaint you, the audience, with the 'audience shrines' of Turkey. Let's face it, without the 'audience' what is the use of making movies?

The aim of the museum exhibition is to appraise the phenomenon of cinema from the doorstep vendors selling their drinks and snacks, to the 'star' magazines, various memorbilia products, to the lanterns and billboards that attracted the people inside. It will be quite a fun outing if you are vacationing in Istanbul.
