HOW LONG: 9 hours -- 3.5 hours of paddling and (optional 1.5 hours Lindos Acropolis). Remaining time is allowed for swimming, snorkeling, exploring Lindos village, dining beach side, and beach-combing
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS: ages 10 and above, basic swimming ability, and good physical condition.
INCLUDES: BCU certified guide, transfers to and from one's accommodations, traditional lunch, all kayaking equipment, entrance fee to Lindos Acropolis (if option 2 chosen)

It's all arranged. We'll pick you up and drop you off at your hotel, give you an introductory instruction and overview of the day's tour and your BCU certified guide will show you Rhodes' beauty.
We start near the town of ancient Lindos at Vlicha Beach. Great way to see the awe inspiring Lindos Acropolis with it's 4th century BC Temple of Lidian Athena As we paddle through the crystal clear waters you'll be experiencing the magnificent coastline of coves, beautiful rock formations, and beaches. You'll be given time to swim and snorkel as well.
At the ancient Lindos town, with it's cubic whitewashed houses and decorative stone designs on streets and stairways, we'll enjoy a lunch at a sea side tavern adjacent to the beach. After a nutritious lunch of homemade Greek dishes
OPTION 1- Those that choose Option 1 will have free time on the beach or sightseeing in the village instead of
OPTION 2 - which is strolling uphill through the village's cobblestone alleyways in order to reach the top of the Lindos Acropolis (older and higher than Athens' Acropolis). Afterwards, both options include a paddle to the bay of St Paul at the base of the Acropolis. This protected unique bay is where St Paul disembarked. The activity ends with a leisurely paddle back to the starting point where vehicles will transport all tour members back to their hotel. This excursion is guaranteed to be remembered as a great day of fun, adventure and learning.
