Travel back 8,000 years to a city of 250,000 as you enter the Ephesus Archaeological Ruins. We will also pass the Temple of Artemis, one of the Ancient Seven Wonders of the World (which was 4 xs as large as the Parthenon in Athens). We then move on to St. Johns’ Basilica. It is said that St. John brought Mother Mary to this area and wrote some of the Book of Revelations while in Ephesus. We will then stop to see the famed Turkish carpet making procedure, from cocoon to double knotted exquisite carpet art, at the Hali village center. The finale of your day tour is shopping time in the lovely Kusadasi port town for souvenir 'Turkish treasures' you won't want to leave behind.
