HIGHLIGHTS: Starting at Fira, the capital of Santorini, we'll go to the Ancient
Thira Museum for an hour to give you a visual background of the immense
importance of Santorini in ancient times.
Next, the Akrotiri Archaeological Site, one of the most important sites in the world that has been buried for 3,700 years. At the Akrotiri, you will see and feel the ancient daily life of Santorini: 2 story villas, open squares, warehouses,
underground water systems, treasured artwork of decorated walls, pillars, statues and more. Then lunchtime at the Kamari Black Sand Beach for a lovely Mediterranean lunch experience.
OPTION:
You have a choice to either ride through the island to Oia (EE-a), the most
photographed village on Santorini, or visit the Santos Winery to enjoy the
spectacular caldera views and indulge is some wine tasting. Either way, after that, we head back to the port in a timely
fashion with great memories of "Atlantis". (Request your option choice when booking)
FYI: You will be picked up at the EXIT door of the
tram exit in Fira, met by your guide holding placard with your name then you'll walk to the vehicle. Have
your confirmation letter available to compare with your guide's copy for ease
of ID. Advise: bring sunscreen, dark glasses, water, camera, and comfortable
shoes.
