Lindos Acropolis built 300 years before the Athens Acropolis. It's considered the "jewel of the Island" with breathtakingly beautiful photo
opportunities of the Theatre, the Great
Stoa, the Temple of Athena Lindia,
and the Temple
of Dionysus atop the 350' acropolis perch with a magnificent view of islands, sea, beaches, and St Johns Bay below.
Lindos Medieval Village, here you have free time for shopping, lunch time and walk on the highly rated Blue Flag beach and plenty of photo opps. Before leaving we'll take a quick look at the 15th century
medieval church dedicated to the Virgin
Mary which contains carved icons and 1600's wall painting treasures.
